Good mental-health information should be easy to find, in Malayalam as much as in English. A lot of what we do is share what our psychologists learn in real clinical work. We are glad to do that alongside people who care about the same thing: clinicians, researchers, writers, journalists, and community organisations. If that sounds like you, here are the ways we like to work together.

Write for us: mental health guest post guidelines

We welcome pitches for original mental-health and psychology articles. Write for readers who speak Malayalam, including people in Kerala and Malayalis living abroad. Your article can be in Malayalam or English.

Who can contribute?

Psychologists, therapists, counsellors and researchers with relevant knowledge or experience. Include your name, credentials and a sample of your work so we can understand your area of expertise.

What your contribution brings

A chance to explain your work to a Malayalam-speaking audience, with your name and accurate credentials attached to your contribution. Bring practical experience, a useful explanation or a research finding that adds something to the conversation.

Relevant sources and professional profiles can help readers understand the work and who wrote it. We assess each link for its purpose and relevance; links are editorial decisions, not a benefit to purchase or exchange.

What makes a useful guest post?

  • A clear question, a useful answer and an original point of view.
  • Simple language, short paragraphs and sources for factual claims. For English, aim for language a Class 10 student can understand.
  • Accurate credentials and no identifiable client information, copied material or reproduced assessment items.
  • Writing that fits your expertise and our readers, with no promises of guaranteed treatment results.

Send a pitch before writing the full article

Email your proposed title, a short outline, your credentials and a link to your work. Explain why the topic matters to our audience. We consider the fit before taking a draft forward; submitting a pitch does not guarantee publication.

Pitch your article

Clinical claims require review by a named, qualified clinician who is separate from the author. Malayalam articles also need a native-speaker review. Authors should expect questions, source checks and edits.

From idea to publication

  1. Pitch the idea.Send the question, your angle, an outline and why you are the right person to write it.
  2. Agree the scope.Before a full draft, clarify the audience, author credit, use of the work and any payment terms.
  3. Develop and review.Check the evidence, edit for clarity and complete the clinical and language reviews the article needs.
  4. Approve the final version.Publication follows editorial approval. Include clear credits, sources and a way for readers to report corrections.

To keep our readers safe and our information trustworthy, some things we hold firm on:

  • We do not buy, sell, or exchange links.
  • We do not publish paid or sponsored posts dressed up as editorial.
  • We do not run content from sites unrelated to mental health or our audience.
  • Clinical claims are reviewed and signed off by a named, qualified clinician, separate from the author. Nothing clinical is anonymous.

We read everything, though messages that ignore these usually will not get a reply. Everything else is genuinely welcome.
