Others feel stuck in a relationship, or overwhelmed by work pressure they cannot talk about at home. Parents reach out when their teenager is pulling away and they are not sure what is going on.

And some people just want a space to think out loud, with someone who listens without judgment, outside their usual circle of family and friends.

How therapy works at ElloMind

Our therapists use evidence-based methods, primarily cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), emotion-focused therapy, and person-centred approaches. These are methods with strong research behind them, not trends.

But the method is only part of it. What matters most is whether you feel heard. Research consistently shows that the therapeutic relationship, feeling understood and safe enough to be honest, predicts outcomes better than any specific technique.

That is why we take therapist matching seriously. If your first session does not feel right, we will pair you with a different therapist at no extra cost.

Sessions are 50 minutes each. Most people start weekly and adjust from there.

If you are dealing with something on your own โ€” stress, anxiety, feeling stuck โ€” individual therapy is usually the place to start. If the issue involves your partner, couples therapy lets you work on it together. For teens aged 13โ€“18, a parent or guardian books the first session, and sessions are private between the teen and therapist.

Yes. All our therapists hold postgraduate degrees in clinical or counselling psychology and are registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). They have supervised clinical experience across anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, grief, trauma, and more.

Most sessions happen online via a secure video call, so you can talk from wherever you are. We also offer in-person sessions at our Kochi location for those who prefer face-to-face conversations.
